Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
When you create a Try Market account, we collect your email address and a display name. When you try a product through our platform, we create a trial account on that product on your behalf using a unique identifier derived from your Try Market account. We also collect basic usage data such as which products you try and when.
2. How we use it
We use your information to authenticate you across products on the platform, maintain your account, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information. We may send you transactional emails related to your account.
3. What we share with products
When you try a product, we share a unique identifier and a synthetic email address with that product so it can create a trial account for you. We do not share your real email address with products unless you explicitly choose to. Products cannot access your activity on other products.
4. Data storage
Your account data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Authentication tokens are short-lived (5 minutes) and signed with RS256 asymmetric keys. We use Supabase for data storage, which provides encryption at rest and in transit.
5. Third-party products
Products available on Try Market are operated by independent third parties. Each product has its own privacy practices. When you try a product, your usage of that product is subject to its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for how products handle data within their own systems.
6. Cookies
We use cookies to maintain your session. Products displayed in iframes may set their own cookies to maintain your trial session within that product. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites.
7. Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, we will also request that products remove your trial accounts. You can access and export your data by contacting us.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the platform.
